CENTRELINE BOXING
This video course was created as a companion to the Centreline Boxing book (available at the link above). It represents my personal martial arts system—something I’ve been shaping since I first began training back in the 1980s. Over the years, I studied countless techniques, strategies, and principles from different styles, but I needed a way to bring everything together into a structure that I could practice effectively.
To do that, I organized techniques into distinct “personalities” and identified the universal principles and strategies that apply across all martial arts. My teacher, Sifu Paul Stiles, was the one who pointed out that, without realizing it, I had actually built a complete system.
This course is the result of that journey. It’s my personal contribution to the martial arts community, and it’s both an honour and a privilege to share it with you.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
You’re never too old to begin your martial arts journey. Over the years, I’ve taught students as young as 5 and as experienced in life as 80. Martial arts truly has something to offer everyone—and with the flexible, customizable approach of Centreline Boxing, it’s even more accessible.
That being said, I understand how overwhelming martial arts can feel. With so many styles, techniques, and endless information online (which didn’t even exist when I first started decades ago), it’s easy to get lost and not know where to begin. That’s one of the main reasons I created this system, along with the book and video course.
I once read Paul Stanley from the legendary band KISS talk about how, in the 1960s, he would watch shows where performers turned their backs to the crowd, showing no energy or passion. His mission with KISS was to be the band he had never seen. In the same way, I wanted to create the book and course that I wish I had when I first started out.
At the end of the day, all it takes is the desire to begin—and this system will guide you every step of the way.
